Replying to his remarks in this way, one of our day trippers said "Well, like it or not, sir, but this Lady is permitted to become fatter, isn't she..." In the end, after the ceremony was over, we drove on, being again in our "Vaterland". The pale face of the moon, slightly deformed as a bit it was now missing, was smiling at us from the starry sky, and the tower clock chimed 21:30, when we stood at the end of our journey at Haller Square in the T. of Lidzbark.
